Children are invited to come into school from 8.45 a.m. onwards and an adult is expected to remain with them until that time. All children will enter the school via their classroom external doors.
Nursery children will enter via the nursery external door. If they come by taxi a member of staff will accompany them into the nursery.
Leaving at the end of the day
All children will leave via their classroom external doors with the exception of children going by taxi who will exit via the main entrance. No child is allowed to leave without a parent or guardian who is known to the class teacher. All nursery children will leave by way of the nursery door.
At the end of the school day parents or guardians will wait outside their child's classrooms. They are, however, welcome to enter via the main entrance if they need to call at the office or wish to see a teacher. Parents are asked to keep to the schools footpaths and not to walk through the schools car park area. If the parent or guardian is unable to collect a child they must contact the school and tell us who will be collecting their child.
If a child has not been picked up then he/she will be taken to the school office and the parents contacted to find out why there is a delay in picking them up. The child will stay in the office until a parent or guardian arrives to take them home.
