Graded 'GOOD' by Ofsted - Ofsted 2014 and English Inspection 2013
Ofsted visited South View Infant and Nursery School on the 18th and 19th September 2014 and we were delighted to be graded as 'GOOD'. They commented that 'the school is a caring, supportive learning community. It promotes good behaviour in its pupils and provides a safe learning environment where they can flourish.' 'Teachers ensure lessons are well managed and organised'. 'Pupils have good attitudes to learning. They respond well to instruction, are keen to cooperate and are respectful, polite and friendly. This supports their good progress'.
In the Early Years Provision 'Excellent relationships ensure children behave well, enjoy their learning and engage happily in the wide range of activities offered.' 'Teaching is good. Staff provide a range of stimulating activities that engage children fully in their learning'.
Ofsted recently visited our school on the 5th March 2014 to complete an English Survey Inspection. We were very pleased to be graded as 'GOOD' in achievement, teaching, curriculum and leadership and management.
